Serai is a wholesale marketplace connecting independent brands with retail buyers across India. Serai facilitates discovery, ordering, and payment between brands and retailers but is not itself the seller of any product listed on the platform — that role belongs to the brand.
Brands and retailers must complete onboarding and be approved by Serai before transacting on the platform. Serai may request business verification documents (GST registration, incorporation documents) and may approve, reject, or suspend any account at its discretion.
Prices listed by brands are wholesale prices intended for retail resale and exclude shipping unless stated otherwise. Minimum order values set by each brand must be met for an order to be placed. Once placed, an order is a commitment between the retailer and the brand; cancellations are subject to the brand's own policies.
Retailers are not charged at the time of placing an order. Payment is due within 30 days of order confirmation ("net-30"). Serai will send a payment link before the due date. Late payment may result in account suspension and is subject to the overdue terms communicated at the time.
Brands are paid out by Serai independently of when the retailer settles payment, typically within 7 days of order confirmation ("pay-in-7"), subject to standard fraud and risk checks.
Serai's commission structure is described on our Pricing page and may be updated from time to time with notice to brands.
Serai is not liable for the quality, safety, or legality of products listed by brands, or for disputes between brands and retailers arising from order fulfilment, except as required by applicable law.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Serai after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
